Trying to make a server and im getting the following error:

Hey guys what's up?

So me and my buddy only recently got tekkit. So I wanted to make a server for just me and my mates to have a play around on because most server have items banned except PVP and we don't want that. I know how to port forward, so all that side done. But when it comes to the Launch.bat. I get the following error.

'C:\program' Is not recognized as an internal or external command.

Im using a brand new PC. So its windows 8 if that has anything to do with it.

Windows 8 has a history of complicating things that have to do with Tekkit Classic/Lite

Add quotes around the launcher path in the batch file. If you still have issues, go post a bug report.
