Same problem here.

I tried my old portable tekkit, downloaded the technic-launcher-latest.jar (http://mirror.technicpack.net/files/technic-launcher-latest.jar)

and after downloading Minecraft.jar it fails to update.

Would try the .exe, but the Download isn't working (http://mirror.technicpack.net/files/TechnicLauncher.exe)

tried to delete the voltz-folder and start voltz,

and deleted my tekkit and technic-folder

Website is up again, asked in IRC the website had some load balance problems

Same here at first it loaded.

Than Update failed came.

I tried it again and again but everytime same thing came.

So i dled the newest technic launcher, but when i want to start it a little window comes.

Java cant open virtual machine....

Error technic launcher will be closed.(I hava java 7.21).

A guy in a other thread told me to dl a special antivirprogramm but its still not working...

Even my normal minecraft doesnt work anymore..

When i want to run it a long list with errrors is coming...

Can smon help me out?

The fix to Update Failed: disable your AV then try to update it

Your AV sometimes finds the launcher as a Malicious File (Though it is not) and will prevent the download of files from it.

its still not working i turned off Microsoft Security Essentials but its doesnt work... ("update failed")
