Launcher won't open

Description of Problem:

The Technic launcher will not launch for me. I click on the .jar, but it will not open. No error message.

First, you should get a AV/AM, it will always be helpful

Second, there should be a error log somewhere in there.

if you get the problem that it brings up the version check then cuts out or if it is asking for java 1.5.0 (whether you have it or not) try going into the .techniclauncher folder and open the file tehnic-launcher with "java platform se binary" (it may be the default java or the development version)
