World compatibility

Hi!

Does anyone know if the new Tekkit is compatible with Tekkit Lite worlds? The item IDs were different in Lite and Classic.

I dont think so, a whole of Id´s and packs was replaced

Simply yes. But many of your blocks and item that are not in the new Tekkit will be missing. No redpower and no IC2 make for some very large world changes.

Thanks. That's a huge change indeed. And I suppose trying to add those mods manually will just break the pack down.

There isn't even a 1.5 update for Redpower at this time, so yes trying to add it would probably break the pack.
