SumYungGui Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 I'm setting up a Tekkit server for some friends and myself to mess around on. I like a lot of the mods in the game but some are just not fun and I want to remove just those specific ones while leaving the rest intact. The problem I'm running into is that simply removing the .jar or .zip files from the server seems to inevitably break something and the server can't even start without exploding with errors and crashing out. Is there a better way? Quote
Altair357 Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 The errors are probably caused by the current world having data from the mods you're removing. Trying to start up a world with data you can't read causes things to blow up. Try generating a new world, see if you still get the errors. There's no other way to remove mods, though. Quote
SumYungGui Posted May 4, 2013 Author Posted May 4, 2013 Well making a new world partly worked, now I can start the server up but joining gives my client item ID mismatched errors. Quote
