Does upgrading from server 1.0.0 to 1.0.3 require a world reboot?

I get ID mismatch errors between world and game upon attempting to log in after upgrading to server 1.0.3. Does this mean I need to trash the world and restart?

There were no ID changes between 1.0.0 and 1.0.3.

I've managed to upgrade a 1.0.0 server into 1.0.3 by simply downloading the files from: http://www.technicpack.net/tekkit (Server Owners link)

I then ran the "launch.bat", after which I copied over my "world" folder into the new 1.0.3 directory, and finally copied over "ops.txt"
