help with modpack

when i go to launch the tekkit main modpack, it downloads some of the mods and stops on either downloading part of galacticraft, extracting null or gregs lighting. Then it loads up the client without all the mods downloaded and it just grey screens for ages. This is the same for the other modpacks also

I'm having the same problem, but it is always Gregs Lighting. I can't get it to download the files so I can play....

Disable you antivirus/firewall and try again. That might not be the problem, but Tekkit sometimes gets hung up on that.

I have this problem as well and disabling the anti virus and updating java does not fix the issue.
