i was wondering if anyone could help me set up solder.

i have tried in the past and failed but now i am trying to set up the newer version. i have a server on serversfree.com however i am not sure what to do now. i would be fine with switching to another free hosting service if there is a better one for solder. i have already experimented on my own but failed. i have already tried to follow previous threads about it but i have no clue when it comes to web servers. could anyone help?

If you look into the stickied "Solder API" thread you will see a link in the OP including my tutorial on how to set solder up.

Hosting on a free host on the other hand, you're not gonna have much luck with that. Even the ones with cPanel that provide you with a terminal

do not allow php commands, nor do they allow you to install Solder's dependencies. I also doubt you're gonna have much luck with their support.

I would be fine with switching to another free hosting service if there is a better one for solder.

In the meantime, stick to something like dropbox and host a zip instead if you don't want to pay for a VPS.
