I've hooked up redstone torch, lever but it does not pump at all. So I thought it was a animation problem, then placed gold conductive pipes hooked up to a powered furnace, it does not generate MJ at all. I'm using the latest build 1.0.6 Error Messages: Error Log:
0 theprolo Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 Redstone engines won't work on conductive pipes. They can only work on wooden pipes and pumps.
0 LeFusion Posted May 9, 2013 Author Posted May 9, 2013 Redstone engines won't work on conductive pipes. They can only work on wooden pipes and pumps. It seems like only when I place a wooden waterproof pipe it pumps. So I can't hook up a wooden conductive pipe to a gold conductive pipe to generate MJ?
0 theprolo Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 Nope. It's too weak. It generates literally less than 1MJ/t, which is too small for pipes. Even if it could, it would be a terrible power source and you'd need to spend more resources trying to make it even remotely productive than it would take to just make any other engine easily. I recommend using Steam or Magmatic engines instead.
