Launcher Version: Latest

Operating System: Dell PC with Windows 7

Java Version: 1.7

Antivirus Program: K9 Web Protection, Norton Security Suite

Description of Problem:

Hello everybody, I'm new to the technic forums and I had to join to find help with my launcher.Every time I open the technic launcher, it will not open.The title screen is shown but that's it, and it just stays there, until I close it with task manager.Please help me because I love technic.I have tried deleting technic and downloading it again, but it still doesn't work.It was working fine earlier today, but now it's ruined.

Try disabling Norton/k9 and run it again. If that fails, then run as admin.

I can't disable K9 because it's run by my dad and only he has the password.I could disable Norton but I don't see the point because it says that it allows it.I also tried running it as an admin, still doesn't work

I'm having a problem with my Technic launcher, when i click to open it all that comes up is the Technic logo and then nothing happens. I have gone into my processes on task manager and can see that java is running and when i end it the Technic logo goes, but this doesn't help me run tekkit, any suggestions?
