Help! I cannot login to my server

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read through and possibly help me.

Here is my problem. I cannot login to my minecraft server, it says " 1.3 "

- I have the latest tekkit launcher installed aswell, and my host is: mineocityhosting.com/

-I'm on a macbook btw and my brother who im going to play with is on a windows7
