Continous mod updates

Description of Problem:

When I attempt to run my mod pack it re-downloads the latest version. Other people who use the pack have reported the same issue.

Fix in version 243 beta. You must change in client properties stable to beta.

Same here with Aether experimental. Asks to update every single time I launch the game. if I say no - it launches vanilla and mod breaks (Instead of mod, vanilla loads, to fix - must re-download, but will ask to update again).
