IC2 config sounds

when I change the sounds to false in the config and save it doesn't shut of the annoying sounds in the game. Anyone know what I am doing wrong.

yeah, like 4 times before I gave up because it was bugging me to death. I will try again later.

There are two sets of configs: 1 for standard and 1 for advanced machines. Make sure you're turning off the correct ones, and that you're doing it while Minecraft and Java aren't running.
