Have Sphax but when I try to open Sphax It just lags and crashes

Description of Problem:

On Big Dig when I try loading Sphax Big Dig patch it lags then crashes, no white screen or anything else. Just CTD. No bug area for big dig.

Also I can't open big dig after. It crashes after Mojang logo.

I can delete Sphax and it works.

But I WANT TO USE SPHAX!

Ok, first it could be your operating system, as xp is quite a bit old. Second, allocate more ram to the launcher. Third, update to the newest version of java.

im also having a weird problem when i downloaded sphax and alpyed it to my volts it would only work for the animals and the chest i hav no clue how to fix this pls help>
