Can't connect to server in 1.5.2 from launcher only

For whatever reason, whenever I try to connect to my server from the technic launcher (or anyone else does), it gives this error:

However, if run from the normal minecraft launcher, it works fine, with the exact files. Everything about the files is absolutely identical, but for some reason the technic launcher just can't connect to my 1.5.2 server.

I have been running servers since 1.4.6 and on every version since, and have never had this issue. I am wondering if this is a known bug that is being worked on, or if I am even the only one getting this?

If anyone knows any fixes, or what exactly this error message means, I would be grateful.
