10jib Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Hey, I am trying to setup a hamatchi tekkit server on my mac. When I start it up I can see it loading everything and it opens op the window but, when I try to connect it instantly sais end of stream and I loose connection. I can tell its there I see my message of the day and I see it has one bar. I dont think its a connection or memory problem. I am hosting on the same computer and I dedicated one gigabyte. Thanks in advance for reading and trying to help. Quote
10jib Posted June 1, 2013 Author Posted June 1, 2013 It can't even reach it, no bars or anything. Quote
10jib Posted June 6, 2013 Author Posted June 6, 2013 I have updated my java and tried installing it again. Quote
Magister Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 first off since you are using hamachi did you configure your network priority and metric settings for games? typically a server will bind to whichever adapter has the lowest metric setting Quote
10jib Posted June 7, 2013 Author Posted June 7, 2013 No. Sorry I am not very network savy, do I need to do this and if so how? Quote
Magister Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 http://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-Minecraft-Server-With-Hamachi this should help you at least some if this does not work then you will need to look at change adapter settings Quote
BensDaMan Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 I know this post is 4 months old but for anyone else looking at this, here's something hopefully helpful! So if you can see the MoTD & one bar of connection OR No MoTD and ?/? players and one bar connection then that means your using the wrong version. Because this is Tekkit Classic, i can imagine him downloading Tekkit Latest or Tekkit Lite server (Running MC versions like 1.5 or 1.6) and trying to connect with MC 1.2.5 (Tekkit Classic) Or, he may of opened Tekkit Latest or Tekkit Lite and ran the Tekkit Classic server, same thing would happen. The disconnect messages are either "End of Stream" or "Java: Internal Exception blah blah blah" and they usually disconnect you instantly, not like 3 seconds later, in 1 second or less usally. All you have to do is make sure your running the correct versions! Again sorry for the bump, it's just because this was one of the top Google search results for some things, lol. Quote
