Corrupted world help?!

My computer overheated when I was playing tekkit and it didn't save properly and as a result I can't load that world anymore. Other worlds work perfectly but this one gets stuck on the building terrain screen. When I put the region folder from my corrupted world and I put it into another save then I spawn in the same world as the corrupted world but all my chests and machines don't work, as if I was in creative but everything else is normal. any ideas?

Use m c edit you may need to export the world from mc edit to repair it. I hear that you might also find some corrupted squares in mce it and it allows you to remove them
