Hi all, i'll be fast: i downloaded the launcher for mac os x, when i open it, i enter my username and password, it says "launching", and then "100% no update for tekkitmain found", then a white screen open and says "minecraft validated, launching..." so i remain a few seconds with this white screen (tekkit) and then it closes.

I'm going insane. Please help me, answer if you have just a suggestion, every little help will be appreciated. Thank you

Open /Applications/Utilities/Terminal.app, type:

java -version

I noticed this weekend that mine was doing this same thing with the java 7 JDK installed, had to remove it.

What does this code mean? If I have to remove something plz tell me.java version "1.6.0_45"

Java SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_45-b06-451-11M4406)

Java HotSpot 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.45-b01-451, mixed mode)

The same thing is happening to me!

Any idea on how to fix this. One of my users is trying to get on my tekkit server but everytime he loads up the technic launcher it crashes right after FML setup is done. His java is 6.whatever it is and we've done everything correctly. He is on a mac as well.

All I can say is try removing the entire ~/Library/Application Support/technic folder, launch the jar file again and have all the files redownload.

I've been having issues with the game crashing in much the same way, it seems like 4 out of 5 times it will quit at the same place. I can get it to open about 20% of the time, keep trying :/
