Build 1.3.9 Not loading past Mojang screen

I have attempted to download Big Dig through the technic launcher however the game never loads past the white Mojang screen. Any help would be appreciated.

Click the cogwheel in the upper right hand corner of the launcher, check the permgen checkbox and change your allocation to 2Gb
