Old Tekkit world problems

I have a Tekkic Classic world that i made alot of progress on but now that i know about Tekkic Lite I want to play on that modpack yet i dont want to start over. i tried just putting my old world in the saves folder of tekkic lite but no luck. Does anyone know a way to fix this???

There's a guide thread. It's even made as sticky post. So try to search a bit next time ;-) I didn't try it though as I started on Lite.
