  1. Try using Aqueous Accumulator (doesn't drain water sources) instead of a Pump and connect them with Liquiducts (from Thermal Expansion). Both are more reliable than their BC equivalents. And you can save those engines for something else :-) Not sure if it helps, it's probably just chunkloading problem.
  2. I don't think so. With UU-Matter you can only create vanilla and IC2 items (tin and copper). Minium Stone only converts silver ore into ingots... So mining is very probably the only way. Apart from finding it in dungeons.
  3. Mine Silver ore, then smelt it in a furnace to get Silver ingot. See wiki for more info. I don't think there's a way to produce it artificially.
  4. Looks like your config files may be corrupted. Try deleting your tekkitlite folder (don't forget to backup your world or custom configs!) and downloading the pack again.
  5. This is Rift Gateway from Dimensional Doors mod (wiki link). It leads to a pocket dimension (dungeon). From there you can get back or to to another dimension (down a level). Some good loot can be there but beware of traps :)
  6. Combustion engines produce Buildcraft power (MJs), Macerator uses Industrial Craft (or IC2) EUs. There are, at least, two possible solutions: 1. use Pulverizer (from Thermal Expansion mod) instead of Macerator, they are very similar, 2. convert the energy using Power Converters mod: you'll need BC consumer, Energy Bridge and IC2 LV Consumer.
  7. In saves/_YOUR-SAVE-NAME_/cofh/tesseracts.cfg. There are also private frequencies in this file.
  8. Soartex Fanver is quite good - http://soartex.net/downloads/ But I still prefer Sphax :)
  9. Read this article. There are two differences: 1. Download - lwjgl-2.9.1.zip from here 2. The folder will be ~/Library/Application Support/technic/_MODPACK_/bin/ (e.g. _MODPACK_ = hexxit) Then you need to replace files from the zip you downloaded as described in the article. I don't think there is an easier way. Hope this helps a bit. Should I try to make a video tutorial?
  10. You did nothing wrong I think. According to another thread (can't find it now) there is a problem with integrated graphics (Intel). I have nVidia, so it worked for me. The only other thing you can try is launching the with Java 6 (if you have it installed) - how to. Or downgrade to Java 6 completely. In both cases you should also use older LWJGL version (probably 2.8.4 from here). EDIT: Did a bit of searching and found out that switching to fullscreen (Fn+F11) worked for some. You'll need to change keyboard shortcut because F11 is reserved for Show Desktop.
  11. You need to copy those three files (you'll find them in native/macosx folder of the unzipped file) to bin/natives folder of the modpack. If you're still not sure, read this article on Minecraft Wiki.
  12. Try updating LWJGL to 2.9.1. Check this post or Minecraft Wiki on how to do it. Or downgrading to Java 6 could help but it's not that easy.
  13. There's a guide thread. It's even made as sticky post. So try to search a bit next time ;-) I didn't try it though as I started on Lite.
  14. I think I found the solution to this. Maybe. I also had this problem with the same config but I could play Tekkit Lite at least. Then I realized I experimented with LWJGL because of lags. So I tried the same on another modpack I couldn't play before and it worked! Here's what you need to do: 1. backup your bin folder of desired modpack 2. download the newest LWJGL from here 3. unzip it 4. copy jinput.jar, lwjgl_util.jar and lwjgl.jar from unzipped folder/jar/ to your bin folder (overwrite those files) 5. copy everything (libjinput-osx.jnlib, liblwjgl.jnlib and openal.dylib) from unzipped folder/native/macosx to bin/natives 6. try it! You must do that for every modpack you wan't to play. (And probably after each modpack update until it's fixed.) I hope it'll work for you, it did for me. Otherwise -- sorry.
  15. If they are far away, you will need some kind of chunk loader (to keep the chunks loaded when you're away). Just use Dimensional Anchor or Teleport Tether. Phased pipes should work, just double-check your freqs and make sure those in your base are set to Send & Recieve.
  16. Nuclear reactor uses IndustrialCraft's EUs, quarry needs Buildcraft MJ. You will need some power converters (IC consumer, Energy Bridge and BC producer). You can also use Energy Tessaracts and Redstone Energy Conduits instead of Phased/other conductive pipes. Depends on what you prefer. Personally, I like this setup a bit more. But you'll still need an Energy Bridge.
