Missing recipes

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate, SP1

Java Version: Java 7 Update 17 (64 bit), Java 7 Update 21, Java 6 Update 29 (64 bit)

Description of Problem:

Multiple recipes are missing including basic ones like RE Battery, generator, and macerator. This is happening on a fresh install of Minecraft and the Technic Launcher. There are no errors, I am just not able to make these missing recipes.

Tekkit is showing version 1.0.6 - recommended, not 1_0_3 as available in the list below.

IC2 is obsolete and Redpower is no longer being maintained. The two have been replaced by Thermal Expansion and MineFactory Reloaded. Generator is replaced with buildcraft and TE engines, macerator is replaced with TE pulverizer, and power storage is replaced with the Redstone Energy Cell.

There's a few other little things as well, but they're being dealt with in their own time. Space Tekkit does what the majority of IC2/RP does, and better in several cases.

Thanks for the quick replies. I didn't know about those mods going obsolete, that would explain why I couldn't even make copper wire... That kind of makes the wiki obsolete as well, especially for new players like myself.
