My Server Isn't Working But Why?

I made The Tekkit Classic Server And Have done everything my friend showed me but when I click on servers it says there is 1 bar of connection signal (1550+ ms) and when I try to join it instantaneously displays a error message that says

"Connection lost

End of Stream"

I am using the server v.1.0.6 and in the bottom left hand corner it shows :

Minecraft 1.2.5

FML V2.2.106.176

Minecraft Forge 3.3.8.164

Optifine Optifine_1.2.5_HD_S_C6

41 Mods Loaded

Also On the console it displays this message before the server starts loading :

To start the server with more ram, launch it as "java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar minecraft_server.jar"

Can Anyone Tell me why this happened and how to fix it for future reference THANK YOU

Do exactly as it says, start it with more RAM.

Go to your server folder and right click on launch.bat. Then edit it. change the first number to something below your installed RAM. Change the second number to something below the first number. That should fix it.
