Description of Problem: wont update i attempt to start my tekkit up

and get the update failed messege which is a B yu know what a mean

dont understand what is wrong tbh this is also a fresh install on windows

formatted only just 3 hours ago, also dont have a antivirus installed so yeh am lost lol

It sounds like the new minecraft update broke the launcher a bit. Relax and wait for a patch to come out.

same problem here. Update failed MD5 does not match! Any idea when there will be patch?

sorted mine out copied a friends working .technic folder,, but apart from that theres no cure

Says the patch is out. Re downloaded erased everything repatched minecraft it's at 1.2.5 fresh everything. No antivirus so it's not that. Windows 7. When i run the launcher everything works execpt the tekkit and technik mods. WTF?

Sorry I'm awful with java and have little to no knowledge about it, how do I check? I tried going to control panel and looking at the pathway and it says C:\program files\java\jre6\bin\javaw.exe I think the jre6 means 6?

use the links on the main technic page to download java 7. If that doesn't fix it make a full bug report.

When I click the link for java whatever for x32 it says unauthorized request. Same with the x64 even though I have x32. http://download.oracle.com/errors/download-fail-1505220.html

Yes I figured it out. Sorry just posted before troubleshooting because that is all I have been doing for the past 3 hours trying to get this to work and it's quite tiring. Got it now, though. Thanks.
