Title: Minecraft has crashed! When upgrading to 3.1.3

Version: 3.1.3

OS: Windows 7 64-bit

Java Version: 1.7.0_21

Description of Problem:

So I've been playing Technic Classic on 3.1.2 but only just discovered there's an update for it so I decided to go to 3.1.3. I've done so and when I proceed to start the game it gives me a crash after the Mojang logo

The best way to fix this is not to use 3.1.3.

It's severely unstable and has several bugs, crashes and problems. On top of that, you get very little in return. Stick with 3.1.2 - the only thing you'll be missing out on is crashing every time you discover one of the many errors in 3.1.3.
