Launcher Version: Launcher Build 253

Operating System: Windows Vista 32 bit

Java Version: don't know

Antivirus Program: TalkTalk Security

Description of Problem:

well the problem is i open the launcher open any modpack hello message pops up loads stuff and suddenly says Fatal Error FML could not set ur minecraft enviroment or something like and and i can't play anything please help i am super desperate to play on the techniclauncher

It's failing to download the files correctly. This is usually caused by an antivirus or firewall blocking the download. Try disabling both your AV and Firewall while downloading the pack.

Make sure to turn them on once it's done though - you don't want your computer to get viruses just be a use you forgot to turn its defences back on. Once the pack's been run once it shouldn't need to download anything unless it updates.
