question bout technic

when u open the technic launcher and u can choose technic, tekkit, yog box, voxel modpack and vanilla and i want to know whats all of them do

The Technic Pack is a collection of mods (a mod pack) tweaked to work well together. The launcher is just a handy tool for you to get a copy of Minecraft with all these mods installed without having to do it yourself, Ill list the options here:

Technic - The single player (SSP) version of the technic pack - http://www.technicpack.net/technic6/
