Need Help !

So ive decided to play Tekkit again. So i came to this site and downloaded Technic Launcher. Then i choose Tekkit from the list and log in. It downloads some stuff and as i get in, I get stuck at the MOJANG sign. Then few seconds after that it says Tekkit is not responding. I have played Tekkit before and it runs smootly but it was with older version. Can someone help me with this problem ?

Increase the amount of RAM assigned to Tekkit to (I think) 2Gb by clicking on the cog beside the Tekkit icon on the launcher. Tekkit can also take while to fully load and can give the appearance of having crashed - even on my i7 with 16Gb of RAM it takes about 30 seconds.
