Question

Launcher Version: Technic Launcher.jar

Operating System: Windows 8 64bit

Java Version: Java 6

Antivirus Program:

Description of Problem:

Minecraft Crashes every time I open the launcher and try to run it. I can get into the launcher screen, but after the MOJANG message and emblem appear, it crashes. It worked fine one time, but then I went to download my optifine to it, it just stopped working. It kept saying that it was loading on the launcher screen, but nothing happened for over half an hour. I then deleted all its files and re-downloaded it and this happened.

This is the way Tekkit lite has it:

Delete .technic folder in %appdata%

Reinstall technic pack & tekkit lite

Download optifine 1.4.6

Delete the folder "META-INF" in your modpack.jar

Drag all files from optifine folder into modpack.jar

Then do the same with 1.5.1 optifine but make sure you clear the technic folder first, don't forget to delete "META-INF".

If that doesn't help then i don't know.

Perhaps try java 7?
