Description of Problem:Hangs at dirt background immediately after connecting to my server, crashes after a few minutes. Can connect without a problem to other servers.
All of the above is pertaining to my client. I can't really comment on the technical details of the server as they are not provided by the host, DaddyCheese beyond that it has 512mb of dedicated memory.
The error occurred first when I "hopped on the server," as he put it. I then tried skipping to renaming the jar to craftbukkit and restarted but the issue occurred again exactly as before.
For some reason, the server's console consistently indicated that I had connected twice in a row. The server's console logs looked like this when my Tekkit instance would finally stop:
06.04 14:35:02 [Disconnect] User BlindFool has disconnected, reason: disconnect.endOfStream
06.04 14:35:01 [server] INFO Read timed out
I was (and still am now with a regular 1.2.5 Bukkit setup) getting the following server error in console every once and a while:
06.04 14:45:31 [server] WARNING Can't keep up! Did the system time change, or is the server overloaded?
Upon doing some research it seems fairly common, but I didn't find anybody that had it associated with crashing the client. Plus, with the regular Bukkit setup I don't get any stuttering.
I think that sums up everything that needs to be said. Hopefully everything is clear enough.
@freakachu: sorry about that, I'm stupid. For whatever reason yesterday I didn't think this qualified as a bug report.

To install Tekkit onto the server I used 2.1.1 and followed the guidelines that this user outlined: http://forums.technicpack.net/index.php/topic,4943.msg30843.html#msg30843
