launcher wont download anything

the launcher will download nothing when i try to download any pack it will say download failed

os: windows 8 professional

ram: 4gb

vram: 512mb

hdd:500gb

java: jre 7 update 25

maybe the launcher is broken (again) i have to say this the technic launcher is a troll software and you have to be lucky to get it working

What are you trying to download?

Official packs or Platform packs?

If it's Platform (ie. user-made) packs, try verifying it's actually with other packs as well.

If so, turn off your anti-virus and/or firewall for a short while. It may be they're interfering with the download.

If it's just the one or two packs you tried, it may be that they hit the download limit.

I happen to have no problem downloading packs, so it's either you or the host.

If it's official packs... I don't know what to say there.

nope official wont work at all eccept the packs i allready have installed or dont have to update

I cannot tell you what might be wrong then. Like I said, I have no problems.

Try deleting the launcher and reinstalling.
