Weird issue

I made a Tekkit Lite Server Yesterday. When I join it, I have a problem with memory allocation. Tekkit runs out of memory VERY often, and the max memory to allocate it 1gb. What can I do to not run out of memory?

on another note your problem is most likley because 32bit java will only let you use 1 gig now if you have more (which you most likley do)

your probably a 64bit sys to fix this uninstall your java then go get the 64 bit java on oracles site (you will have to dig a bit into other versions but i think there making it easier) install the lastest greatest 64bit java nad then give it more ram and you should be good to go

You were correct, i had a 32 bit Java. I uninstalled it and got a 64 bit, and it works fine now. Thanks for the help!
