Help a nublet with Tesseracts!

I'm trying to set up two tesseracts so that a redstone energy cell powered by two sterling engines will power a Planter and a Harvester via a conduit. The first 3 images from the imgur album above show the cell and the two sterling engines right next to it, and the rest of the 4 images show the conduit connecting the tesseract to a Planter and a Harvester. The tesseracts for some reason do not transmit energy from one end to another.

What am I doing wrong?

it looks like you may not have the conduit configured correctly -- where the power should be leaving the "receiving" tesseract, right click with a wrench to make sure that the connection is orange (for output). if you've already done it, sorry... it's hard to see that part of the image.
