Is this related to the "mod_IC2AdvancedMachines : Unsupported major.minor version 51.0" error?

There is a fix for that one.

Surely there is a better solution than just removing the advanced machines completely.

What "long" error are you talking about?

hey, guy! did you know we have a section just for bugs and errors and such? did you know that section has a sticky with a proper fix for this issue that doesn't involve deleting the mod straight up? it's true!
