help i cant download hexxit on the technic launcher

when ever i try to download Hexxit on the technic launcher it says this:

"Error downloading the fallowing pack: Hexxit

Failed to download http://mirror.technicpack.net/Technic/mods/wildcaves3/wildcaves3-v0.4.2.zip

Please consult the modpack author"

i get this error every time. i also have not been able to add any new mod packs since big dig has been added

There's a search box in the top right. If you use it, you might find 5 or 6 threads for this exact issue.

Hint: your overeager antivirus program is probably interfering in some way.
