Hexxit Multiplayer Help : can't craft any items outside vanilla.

Hello, I have been trying to work with the Hexxit multiplayer server crafting. I can't make any items other than default minecraft stuff. Other players I am with have the same issue. In single player the crafting works fine.

Any suggestions, thoughts, or comments would be appreciated. (It's probably me being a baddie )

maybe this is a dumb question, but are you sure the server is actually running Hexxit? The launch.bat file is actually calling Hexxit.jar and not minecraft_server.jar, right?
