Downgrade MC version to 1.5.1

The server I play on can't update for a while to the version running on 1.5.2. I've tried changing the tekkit build back to 1.0.6, but it still launches in MC version 1.5.2. Any ideas on how I can downgrade successfully?

delete your technic folder from your directory. go to your windows start menu and search up run. open run application and type in %appdata% and look for your .technic file and delete it. start up tekkit with the 1.0.6 build and your good
