No matter what design I build, without even having started it up, the wires burn. the Moment I place an empty Ultimate Energy Cube, the wires ignite and burn.

This Time, after setting all up, it worked fine, until I powered it up. then it burned again

LOL, your problem is that copper cables are not capable of handling such a high voltage. i had this problem as well, nearly threw the keyboard out the window in rage.

Since they removed the mod with all the different types of power cable, you have to now use "Universal cable" to hook up your high voltage reactors. ;)

This is actually wrong. universal cables actually transfer certain amounts of energy, meaning after so much it burns up.

You last picture, you cant have all you cables joining then leading into the box. You must have each section of the reactor going into one side of the cube.

Also this picture makes me question youyr reactor abilities.

Universal cables are easier to get then copper wire, they accept any voltage, and have no loss over distance so there is no reason to use copper wires unless you are using basic voltz
