Tekkit stuck when downloading SimplePowerStorage-1.0-1.0.jar

i downloaded technic launcher since my friends told me that the new tekkit is awesome and epic but when i started downloading it it went fine for some time until i started downloading SimplePowerStorage-1.0-1.0.jar.

the bar hasn't progressed at all but the technic launcher is still running and not frozen. Please help.

I had this same problem. Go into the launcher, click the gear icon for tekkit. Reset mod. Go into the technic folder, and delete the tekkitmain and cache folder. Then try redownloading.
