I_Zebra Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Hi, After getting the recently updated Hexxit server file and trying to open the Hexxit.jar folder the error from Java Virtual Machine Launcher pops up saying A Java Exception has occurred, I have not found much help off of google :/ And would like some help! Also, when I open the launch.bat file It says -Xmx3G -Xmx2g -jar Hexxit.jar nogui' java' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. Some system properties: OP System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6. 1, Build 7601) Processor: IntelĀ® Core i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.4GHz Memory: 12252 MB RAM
Thoran Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Uninstall Java, reboot PC, reinstall the latest 64bit Java and reboot again. See how that goes. The reboots might not be necessary but they will make sure all old files are removed propperly.
I_Zebra Posted September 15, 2013 Author Posted September 15, 2013 I did all that you asked and the error is still coming up. Could it be the Hexxit file?
I_Zebra Posted September 15, 2013 Author Posted September 15, 2013 I take that back, I tested to see whether my Java was working and it came up with 32 bit java. Grrrr.
I_Zebra Posted September 15, 2013 Author Posted September 15, 2013 Okay, I have installed Java 64-bit on my computer multiple times now, rebooted too, but when I check my version it still shows as 32 bit. This is clearly the problem but does anyone know how to fix it? Got 64-bit from this link: http://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp http://puu.sh/4ruJp.png
