Hexxit Closes for no reason

Title: Hexxit Closes for no reason

Version: 1_0_4

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium

Java Version: Version 7 Update 6 (build 1.7.0_06-b24) I think

Description of Problem:

I am able to start up Hexxit just fine and play for 5-25 minutes then Hexxit closes down without any kind of error message. The window just closes. In MP I can only play for about 3-10 minutes before the same thing happens. I am unable to find any kind of Error log. I'm running Hexxit Build 1.0.5 which is the recommended.

I also have this issue. I have used several modpacks, albeit from the FTB launcher, with no issues but now that i tried Hexxit out I really cant play. I increased the permgen & i have allocated 3gb memory but it still does this. always closing with no error or any indication to what the problem was.

other threads have indicated that this kind of closure is a Java error. I have the latest Java update so i dont know what is the issue.

lol turns out i dont have the latest java, was using update 25. updating to update 40 will let you know how that goes.
