Brand new to Tekkit, where can I find a guide?

Hey! I'm brand new to Tekkit. I've tried to find a guide to getting started with this mod pack but I can only find guides for the IC2/Classic/Lite versions.

Has anyone written up a complete Tekkit newbie's guide to getting started with the current Galacticcraft Tekkit?

All I can recommend is the Tekkit wiki entry for Galacticraft. I'm sure a few people have posted a few useful Youtube videos but I haven't looked yet. I'm still playing on Earth for now lol.

I think that you can run around and google up some starter guides for each mod. I found one for Thermal Expansion, while not directly made for Tekkit, it is still pretty comprehensive. If I remember correctly it's somewhere on the FTB forums.
