Modpack updates not removing old mods from folder

Launcher Version: 290

Operating System: Windows 8 Pro x64

Java Version: 7 update 40 x64

Antivirus Program: Windows Defender

Description of Problem:

When i update my modpack, the launcher installs the new files without removing the old ones.
