Launcher won't let me login or even play

Java Version: Java 7 Version 45 64-bit

Description of Problem:

I enter my login info, press launch and nothing happens. I can only press the launch button once before it locks up. I have read forum posts and could not find a solution to my problem.

I've created an account on the Technic site and have downloaded the launcher but it keeps telling me that my username and password is invalid. What am I doing wrong?

First, you are threadjacking. Second, you need to use your minecraft login to use the launcher.

Ok I have a workaround. Problem is you have to load it every time so far. I will be copy and pasting this to all post. Go to your web browser and Make sure you delete your technic folder before you do: http://mirror.technicpack.net/launcher/253/TechnicLauncher.exe

This does seem to work.

I'm sorry if you think i'm threadjacking but I was honestly confused. Thank you for the help though I thought I had to use my Technic login :)
