Tekkit home lan server

Hi

I need help in setting up a server. My daughter and I both have registered Minecraft accounts and I would like to setup a local lan server we could use offline.

I have downloaded, unziped and did the initial setup in te "server" file Eg. my IP address and on-line mode=false.

I've also started the server and used Tekkit to join my server in multi player.

My problem lies in that none of the ores like copper and tin is not present.

Any help would be appreciated

when you run the server, are you running Tekkit.jar? If you run minecraft_server.jar you'll find that you get only 'vanilla' Minecraft.

What about the launch file? That's what I always use to run my sever.
