Log-in Button not Working

Launcher Version: most recent as of 10-29-13

Operating System: Win 8 64-Bit

Java Version: 7 Newest

Antivirus Program: None

Description of Problem:

The platform wil not let me in, i am a first time user of technic. If i enter the wrong pass it wil say invalid ect.. but if i enter the correct one and click log-in, it will freeze up on me and the hover over button animation will not start, nor can i log-in.

No message, just frozen
