If i log out of a world and then the next day i log back in i may have lost machines power systems i have put down world anchors tried to reset the pack everything does this have something to do with playing on singleplayer and not on a server i dont understand

Description of Problem:
If i log out of a world and then the next day i log back in i may have lost machines power systems i have put down world anchors tried to reset the pack everything does this have something to do with playing on singleplayer and not on a server i dont understand
