1.6.4 modpack wont load but others do.

Description of Problem:

When trying to download my own 1.6.4 modpack I get the error about malformed zip files, but if I install the pack manually into the vanilla folder it will work properly.

I then tried the same thing on my laptop, loading the files manually, but when I click to launch the mod, after clicking 'no' to the 'do you wish to update' message, nothing else happens.

Checking the error log, it looks like it may be trying to load files for the 1.7 version of minecraft rather than 1.6.4.

I just used the technic launcher to install vanilla Minecraft 1.6.4 then extracted the modpack.zip file I created over the top of it. On my PC (Win 7 Pro 64bit) it will then play the pack as long as I don't click to update it to the latest version, but on my laptop it refuses to load at all with modded 1.6.4 Minecraft. My 1.4.7 modpack loads fine on both computers, even with updating the pack to the latest versions.

I used the Technic launcher to install vanilla 1.6.4 minecraft, which does download and run fine. I also, just to test, I used the proper Minecraft launcher and after installing forge onto it, copied my modpack onto that and it worked there too.

Still having no joy running the modpack through the technic launcher though.

Hi again, has anybody else found a fix for this issue yet?

Last night I upgraded my laptop to Windows 7 Pro 64bit, installed the latest 64bit Java and the latest Techniclauncher (as of 19th November 2013), tried downloading my modpack again it still says the zip is malformed and doesn't run. I've re-uploaded the file multiple times, even re-created the zip on a second computer to see if it was the zipping process causing the issue. I'm using the Windows 7 compressed folders method to create the file, which works fine for my 1.4.7 mod pack.

After trying this last night again, I noticed that when it downloads the modpack, it doesn't install a Minecraft.jar file into the folder.

I then tried copying all the files from my PC to the laptop and running it through Techniclauncher without updating, and the game loaded and ran fine.
