Recipies aren't showing up

Hi. I just started playing Tekkit two days ago. Today when I opened it and I don't see the recipes when I click on the crafting bench. I am not sure what version of Tekkit I have. How can i tell?

I found the answer on this video:

I just need to press "o" which toggles it on and off.
