I finally have my cooking automated with the items from Cooking for Blockheads. Now all I do is double-click on a food item and its in my hand. This is the way I did it. Make four fridges, two cooking tables, and a cooking oven. Stack two fridges (shift click to stack). To the right of that put a cooking table, to the right of that the oven, to the right of that another cooking table, and to the right of that two more stacked fridges. All of those fridges are necessary if you want to have ALL food available including salt and cups of water. Put the baking dish, skillet, pot and saucepan in the oven.(there are four slots for them on the left when you click on the oven). Put the other utensils in one of the fridges. Now if you click on either of the cooking tables you will see all the possible recipes for the ingredients you have. (the tables seem to be necessary to link the fridges, which is why i put two of them.) With the chopping block, mortar and pestle and cutting board in the fridge it is automatically used. If you have raw meat it actually cooks in the oven.

Somehow I lost my book V on making armor. The "Supplier" says I can have another - but never actually allows getting one. Maybe it is a bug? Is there any other way to get another armor book? If not, is the information on armor for Blightfall anywhere else online? Thanks.

I made a great discovery! You don't actually have to go hunting through the villages for parts. I finally found a video where a guy shows how to make the parts you need for creating the casting stencils. You can use the wood stencils to make COBBLE tool parts, then use the cobble tool parts to create the aluminimun brass stencils! He makes some errors in the beginning of the video but it does show the whole process evenutally:

I tried the stick with the aluminum bronze and that didn't work. I'll try gold. If that doesn't work I'll just keep looking for the part. Thanks!

Ok, that is what I thought. So somehow I still need to find the rod/handle. Is it going to be in one of the villages or not?

The problem I'm running into is putting a blank piece of aluminum brass in the stencil table does nothing. I've seen videos where the shapes appear in the alunimum brass just as they do in the paper stencils, but they don't for me. Do I have a different version or am I do something wrong with that stencil table? The only way I've been able to make aluminum brass stencils is with an actual tool part on the table of the smelter.

Ok thanks, I guess I just have to look some more. I probably looked in 15 villages and never found the handle/rod or the broad shovel, but I did find other parts and was sucessful at casting them. So is that rod out there somewhere?

I am new to Hexxit and I'm trying to get the hang of creating tools and weapons. It looks like the version of Tinker's construct in Hexxit is 1.4 (which is old) and the various videos and instruction books (included in the game) are out of date or are for newer versions. It seems I can't make a tool without already having the part I need and making a cast, but there are parts I can't find - such as the tool rod and broad head shovel. The paper stencils don't seem to do anything. How do I make the tool handle/rod?

I found the answer on this video: I just need to press "o" which toggles it on and off.

Hi. I just started playing Tekkit two days ago. Today when I opened it and I don't see the recipes when I click on the crafting bench. I am not sure what version of Tekkit I have. How can i tell? thank you.
